Dr. Nunnelee grew up in Tupelo, MS. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University (Hail State!) and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Nunnelee commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He served as a general dentist for 2 years onboard USS Carter Hall and for 2 years at a Naval Dental Clinic in Norfolk, VA. Following his service in the Navy, Dr. Nunnelee attended Post Graduate Endodontic specialty training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham prior to starting Edgewood Endodontics in Homewood, AL.
Dr. Nunnelee is passionate about Endodontics. He loves being able to help relieve pain and save teeth in a comfortable environment for his patients, and he is committed to excellence in his field and his community. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Alabama Dental Association
When he is not working, Dr. Nunnelee loves spending time with his wonderful wife, Colleen, and their three sons, Daniel, Peter, and Hayes. He is an avid runner and you may spot him pushing a stroller through Homewood in his free time. Dr. Nunnelee and his family are members of Christ Fellowship Church.
